330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Hazy dull amber orange color with massive silky dark off-white head, it stands with great retention and slowly dissipates to an everlasting fluffy layer atop and leaves numerous of sticky lacing patch and spot along the way. There are lots of yeasty sediments floating around.
Huge aroma of hop ranging from tropical, pungent, citrus, mango, pineapple, lime, spice, herbal, pine, and grass while there is some biscuity malt in the background. It is quite musty as well which I guess maybe from the yeast also some kind of rotten fruit.
The taste is led and dominated by pungent hop with its tropical, pine, citrus, grapefruit, lime, herbal, and solid grassy bitterness but unfortunately it is quite dull and monotone with some biscuit and slight caramel malt undertone. Yeasty still imparts a vital role providing its musty and subtle rotten fruit character. The end and aftertaste is lasting with plenty of grassy bitterness.
The body is medium with some crisp and moderate lively carbonation through the palate, quite smooth mouthfeel with some zesty touch, dry finish.
Not really a straightforward American IPA since there is strong yeasty profile through both the aroma and flavor, it is also not that tasty and kind of unbalance. In my opinion, I think there maybe some infection with my bottle but still able to drink.
