A smooth American IPA with a hop ride of grapefruit, passion fruit, and citrus flavors. Hit with a heavy dose of simcoe both in the kettle and cold side.

2/10/18...light copper rusted heavy white foam. Light pine malted nose. Soft buttery bite and bitter. Smooth and lightly carbonated. Chewy. Nice local beer,

Pint can. Minimal head, no lacing. A small amount of sediment escaped the can to turn the colour vivid orange. Get some piney hops on the nose but not much. Citrus and pine flavours are subdued and bitterness is light for the style. Soft, slightly thin mouthfeel. A drinkable but underpowered AIPA.

Amber-orange pour with moderate to thin head. Hop presence is moderate, slight piney bite, primarily grassy taste. The taste vanishes quickly. Gone, and for the most part, forgotten.

Clear amberish orange in body with white bubbly head. Aroma of pineapple booze, grass, bubblegum, resin. Tastes of resin, grass, bubblegum, citrus, rind. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into pint glass. It pours a hazy, dirty golden color with a half finger of foamy, sudsy milk-white head and lacing. The nose is quite subdued - mostly malt, grass, and a whiff of hops. The taste features earthy, caramel malt, grass, and light hops. There is very little bitterness; the IBU is only 65. This ale is medium-bodied with fairly light carbonation, and with a moderate 6.5% ABV it is easy to drink. Overall, while Heaven, Hell or Hoboken reminds me of some southern-style, malty American IPA's, I agree with other posters that it drinks like a potent ESB.

Pours a clear orange copper in color with a finger of white head that leaves behind sporadic lacing. Aroma lacks the hop presence that I look for in an American IPA. I get some toasty and caramel malts don't fit the style. Taste starts with more of the same malt notes which is followed by a light hop presence, it's mostly floral but I do get hints of nectarines in the background. Mouthfeel seems a bit thin and aqueous and I don't get much carbonation. Overall this isn't a very good American IPA but it's not a bad beer. I didn't get any off flavors or flaws but this just doesn't hit the American IPA notes I would expect it to. If you call led this an ESB then I'd be pretty happy with it.
