I live a couple of miles from this brewery, and some of the local establishments here in northeast Jersey offer their fine brews on tap. I drank this out of a pint can purchased at a local store. I am not a refined beer connoisseur, so I can’t write reviews like some of the prolific reviewers on this site, but I can tell you that this ale offers everything that I love in a hopped brew. Incredibly tasty and lacking the alcohol aftertaste that many 7% + beers offer... and most importantly no fruity or sugary additions, which many microbrews insist on putting in their offerings. Just good old fashioned bitter hoppy ale... very impressed by this, wish they would offer it again!

The brewer either doesn't know how to best utilize his hops or yeast choice needs altering (or both). I suggest asking for craft brewer tips from Magnify, Bolero Snort, Icarus, Kane, and Carton Breweries in NJ, who are all killing it.
I must be honest. I've had many single hop and all Citra IPAs that have blown this one out of the water. I expected more for $12 a 4-pack.

This one poured from a can into tulip. Smell: fruity with dank. Taste: well balanced for one hop. Pretty straightforward. What does it for me is the clean finish. Very good EC IPA. Pleasantly surprised with this purchase.
