We threw down a heavy malt bed of black, chocolate, honey, roasted barley, and pilsen malts, then rounded them out with malted and flaked oats. A little lactose in the boil, and PLENTY of cannoli shells in both the mash and boil... and you've got a delicious pastry stout.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short light beige colored head that died down and left a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark and roasted malts are present in the nose along with notes of milk chocolate.
T: The taste follows the smell and has some notes of cannoli shells and associated hints of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer makes for an interesting twist on a pastry stout.
Serving type: can
