Had this back on the Baja trip in 2017. Actually drank this at a winery with a beautiful patio overlooking the vineyards and valley.
Pours brown and black like any coffee porter should. Beige head 1/3". Aroma hits the coffee and roasted malt notes. If you thought a Mexican version of a coffee porter would be different, you're wrong, this is as standard for good reason of a coffee porter around.
Taste, yeah bouy, I can dig it. Same as the nose, roasted malt, little chocolate and coffee from the roasted malt, firm presence of enjoyable coffee notes throughout. Body is nice and middle of the road, firm, but not watery, but not excessive, not massive acridity, but a solid bitter presence but also more than just bitter coffee, it has legit enjoyable coffee taste. Alcohol right in the where it should be wheelhouse, neither imperialized nor compromised. I like when you get the smoothness but also the coffee flavor, similar to a lambic with good sourness but low acidity.
This is a keeper, will definitely seek it out next time I visit.

Best Mexican craft I've tried. A little thin on the mouthfeel but the aroma and taste is straight up cold brewed coffee with roasted malt.

Deep black color with a huge thick light brown head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of roasted coffee beans, cocoa, grainy malt and charred wood.
Flavor with notes of roasted coffee beans, burnt wood, cola, a bit of lactic acid and dark fruits
Dry and bitter aftertaste with a lingering roasted note.
Light body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 6.2% is absent.
Average Porter with American coffee notes (big cups, not espresso). It is assertive, not complex nor shows great depth in its flavors. To drink without much thought.

This is a very good tasting coffee porter, really strong coffee, chocolate and dark fruits notes. Too bad head is almost non existent. It´s remarkable how low is the acid note in this porter, very drinkable.
