12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Lush Brussels style lace, brilliantly clear pale golden hue. Spicy herbal citrusy hop nose, faint cracker-like grain and ripe exotic fruit in there as well. Big crispness, ample hop bitterness. Fresh herbs, medicinal yeast character, dried fruit, citrus rind, & a clean graininess on the palate. This is my kind of beer, a little but hoppy, a little but funky, and very drinkable.

Bottled 9-1-15. Pours light golden with small white head that dissipates to lingering ring. Crystal clear with light but lingering carbonation.
Aroma is sweet and piney hops; similar to an American pale ale. Very enjoyable aroma, I keep dipping my nose into the glass for more. Flavor is clear hop bitterness with a light malt to balance it. Crisp and smooth, it's definitely an easy drinking ale.
The smooth hops aroma in the nose is definitely this beer's strength. I want to sit with it under my nose and watch a sunset, or a good football game. Body is good, though not as stand-out. I hope they add this to the line up so I can look forward to enjoying Sundays sipping it.

Fairly simple. Quite hoppy with a solid malt backbone. Medium body. Exceptionally well-balanced. I could drink this all the time. Hoping this is a recurring beer for Allagash.

Pours golden and opaque with a three finger head. Smells of metallic copper with some sweet malt. Taste is sharp with hops on the front, but light, somewhat watery. Some Belgium characteristics. Refreshing though, like a lightly hopped beer seltzer. Finish is easy, lightly spicy mouth feel. Overall, simple to drink, light and refreshing. Really a summer thirst-quencher if anything.

Pours with a moderate head, beer is a semi opaque golden color. Nose is a bit peppery, yeast esters seem up front more so than the hops. The hops have a pear character. Taste is grassy, a little peppery, and very mildly bitter. There are some mouth coating yeast notes in there too. Overral very pleasant, a lovely light blonde with some nice, mildly fruity hop character.
