Two Lights is an ode to two of the more refreshing drinks of summer: cold beer and sparkling wine. While brewing this beer, we add Sauvignon Blanc must—the freshly pressed juice of the grapes. Then we ferment it with both lager and champagne yeast to create a tart, crisp, and dry profile. The finished beer’s aromas of pear, grape, and light hops pair with a flavor profile that’s a mix of tropical fruit and the snappy spritz of a freshly picked grape. We suggest sipping Two Lights by a water source too large to see across.

Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a fizzy short lived head and negligible lacing.
Smells of hops and slightly dank grapes.
Tastes of belgian yeast, grapes and a bit of coriander with a mildly bitter finish.
Light body and carbonation. Light, crisp dry mouthfeel.
This is a light and drinkable half wine half beer brew.

Liked this one. Clear golden color. Medium-sized, fizzy head. Grape, fruits, and some yeasts in the aroma. Moderately sweet, with a crisp, dry finish. Goes down quickly on a hot day.

Poured from can into tulip, good 2+ finger head, good lacing and retention. Pale golden yellow hazy in the glass, nice looking beer. Nose gives off slight tartness, pretty clean otherwise. Taste initially pear, grape slight tartness, but the pear pretty much stays on the palate thru the finish. Good carbonation level to keep it active on the tongue, finish is semi dry. Very nice drinker about to have this with a good neapolitan pizza which should go together great

Clear, crisp light golden pour with a bubbly cap. Champagne/Pinot Gris nose. This is a lively beer, very crisp and effervescent and the brewer is going for a sparkling wine-type beer experience and they nail it. I felt the tart lemon qualities dominated the flavor and backseated the white grape, but still this is a unique lager well suited for summer.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours a lightly hazed straw color with a puffy two finger height head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a white grape wine smell, very reminiscent of a pinot grigio. Mixed with this wine smell comes a decent showing of must and some grapefruit as well as notes of lemon and hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice very crisp and clean cracker malt flavor mixed with some of the wine like characteristics of white grape that was in the nose. At the same time there is a bit of wood and some lighter citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine, along with a touch of lemon. As the taste advances some lighter sugary tastes and spice flavors of coriander and clove join in, and with some notes of hay and a bit of banana, one is left with a nice crisp almost wine/blond ale like hybrid to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a higher level of carbonation. Great for the crisp tastes and wine like characteristics of the brew, making this a nice easy refreshing sipper.
Overall – A very well-done brew overall. In between a wine and a blonde with a very nice balance of flavor, great drinkability, and crisp and refreshing nature. Was very pleasantly surprised.

From a 16 oz. can dated 06-23-22. Sampled Aug 13, 2022.
The appearance is a lemon-yellow-amber tone underneath a quick lived fizzy white head like what you might get in a glass of champagne.
Aroma of white or green grapes, citrus, lemon zest, and toasted biscuit.
The mouthfeel is light and effervescent.
The taste is sweet and toasty with a grapes and a notable yeast character. This also ends dry. Overall, I found it be refreshing and easy drinking.

Pours an opaque light yellow from the can, fizzy 1.5" head with bit bubbles of carbonation, slowly settles out with decent retention and lacing. Nose is wheat, dry white wine, lemongrass, hay, must. Taste is strongly reminiscent of a fruity (though no sweet) white wine - grape, apricot, peach, yeast, baked bread all present. As it warms, tart white wine becomes more prominent, as well as some alcohol. Mouthfeel is on the full side of moderate but with a strong pronounced carbonation. Overall, hard for me to say how representative of style this is, but worth seeking out.
