A- Slightly cloudy golden draft to chalice pour. Small foamy white cap falls to a ring and spotty lacing left behind.
S- Rustic tart coolship goodness. You can smell the beginnings of a lambic with the funky and musty tart fruits but things haven't gotten totally wild yet. For me musty wine grapes, tart apples, lactic and lemon acid, earthy cheesy yeast and fruit skins come to mind.
T- Much like the aroma the magic of the coolship is expressed and unrefined. Musty and tart apples, vinous grapes and stems, lemon, minerals, earthy funk and lactic acid. Comes off simple but honestly it is so deep and the fantastic balance brings on that.
MF- Light and spritzy body with a medium level of carbonation. Slick and somewhat foamy on the palate with an acidic finish.
This is a beer that would have a tap handle at every beer bar in the land of my dreams. Funky and complex coolship notes with fantastic drinkability.
