Taste in a nucleated pilsner and nucleated tulip.
Hazy orange color with a hint of pink. Smells like a standard sour with lime zest and a small hint of cherry sweetness.
Flavor though is very citricy sour. Almost too sour almost. It has a good balance of acidity, and a strong note of line but cherry is nearly non-perceivable. Alcohol is also not noticeable. It is heavily carbonated and fairly thin in the mouth. Overall its quite nice and I would really buy another one. Wish they had this though in 12oz 6packs.

One might be tempted to think that Allagash is jumping the light fruited sour ale train when you see "Cherry Lime Times." One would be wrong. This is a wonderfully sour fruited ale, along with some funk, oak, and must. The cherry and lime are present, but never too forward in the mix. It's a complex, moderately puckering sour that rewards careful sipping, instead of a thirst-quenching Summer crusher.

The beer is a red/orange color with a small, rapidly disappearing head.
Aroma of cherry and lime, a little funky.
Taste of tart cherries, lime, lime zest.
Crisp and dry.

Bottled February 2021

It’s quite interesting to see one of these corked and caged Allagash sours at such a sessionable abv. All of these beers have been incredible, and I honestly expect this one to be no different despite that. Cherry and lime is also a pretty interesting combination that I haven’t seen in a beer, so let’s see how that works out

Pours a cloudy ruby pink with 2 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a thick and infinitely lasting cap and leaves patchy lacing

This one smells just as funky as the others, if not more so, really nice on the nose. I’m picking up on aromas wet hay, sharp oak, underripe cherry, crackery malt, and lime zest

It’s not quite as funky in taste, but still wonderfully sour and balanced. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart cherry, dry white wine, lime juice, crackery malt, and light white pepper. The swallow brings notes of wet hay, lime zest, banana esters, cherry, wheat, and light oak

A light medium body pairs with tingling carbonation, resulting in a very dry and tart beer. Finishes almost entirely dry with a subtle sweetness

Another very good wild ale from Allagash, entirely unsurprising. I always look forward to these

Reddish amber with a finger of head. Aroma of tart cherries and funky cheese. Nice mix of wild and fruit in the flavor. Suitably sour that is complex and layered. Cherries and lime boost the flavor. Finishes dry and makes consumption easy. Nicely carbonated and light body.

375 ml bottle into a tulip.

Pours a hazy light magenta color, an almost fuchsia tone, with 2 fingers of frothy pink-white head. The head is immortal, the retention; eternal. Leaves some splotchy bits of lacing. Beautiful beer.

The aroma brings a huge wave of cherries up front, followed by a bit of hay and light funk. The lime is a bit more subtle than the cherry notes, but still very much present.

The taste flips things around and blasts the palate with fresh lime juice, then a wave of cherries. Some mild grassiness on the finish. Pretty simple, but delicious.

The feel is light bodied and exceptionally carbonated. Highly crisp and drinkable with a nice acidic bite.

Overall, this is a great wild ale that comes exactly as advertised. It's inspired by "cherry lime slushies" and I believe that's an apt description for this beer.
