Pours a clear amber color - rather looks like iced tea - huge foamy white head that ends as a thick ring and rocky islands. Decent cling.
The smell is mild. Caramel sweet, light bready malts, aromatics are earthy with a h8nt of spice, floral notes and just a touch of spice. I don't detect tea in the smell.
Smooth, light flavor. Opens with sweet and bready malts - caramel and I'm getting some brown sugar. I don't know the particular tea used, but there is a definite tea note mid- taste that's noticeable but well-integrated. Judicious use of hops here - very slight bittering, contributory earthiness, mild spiciness and floral notes on the end of the taste with just a bit of citrus.
Feel is fairly light and lively, but it has some creaminess that is maybe a little tannin slickness. It is pretty refreshing.
Overall I like the flavors in play here. The tea and hops are complimentary and nothing dominates. Well-crafted beer.
