This variation on a classic Belgian-style tripel ale was brewed with honey for a light floral aroma, accompanied by undercurrents of bubblegum and honeydew. With just a touch of bitterness, this golden ale finishes beautifully dry, inviting sip after flavorful sip.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a very lightly hazed light amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very slowly leaving a good deal of foamy and sticky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of a Belgium biscuit malt smell mixed with a good deal of bubblegum and yeast. Along with these comes notes of honey, candied sugar, and coriander as well as notes of clove and notes of pepper and a bit of dough.
Taste – The taste begins drier then anticipated from the nose with a biscuit and graham malt flavor mixed with some light honey, bubblegum, and a caramel. At the same time, there comes a decent showing of coriander and clove mixed with notes of yeast and a bit of floral and herbal hop. As the taste advances it dries out even further with even more spice and a bit of banana joining in. With a little bit of warming alcohol coming at the end, one is left with a crisp and drier Tripel taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and thin for a 9.5 % abv brew with a moderate to slightly more effervescent carbonation level.
Overall – A rather nice drier and crispy tasting Tripel. Got a bit more malt and less sweet, but very drinkable and clean tasting.
