An elegant effervescence gives way to malty sweetness intermingled with the delicate bitterness of herbs, finishing with a pleasant aftertaste. A well-balanced pilsner with an intense flavor but a delicately subtle overall impression.

Olhão 18/7 2016. 50 cl can from Oriente Modelo Supermarket. A couple of the usual metal trinkets printed on the can: A Kings Crown, a couple of Medals and of course the German Rheinheitsgebot. You certainly need to think that this is an authentic German beer.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium sweet with malts, grains and corn. Light sour notes.
Light carbonation and a thin, watery texture. Gently tingling texture.
Flavor has a medium strong sweetness balanced by medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter.
Not very complicated - but certainly drinkable.

On draft in Frankfurt.
Crystal clear gold with two large fingers of cloud like head. It was poured slowly as another poster noted, which I found interesting.
Nose is cracker, just a hint of floral
Taste has a peppery spice to it, slightly earthy hoppy.
Clean and crisp. Dry finish.
Really excellent all around.

Best German Pilsener if you ask me. I might be locally biased though being from the area. But this one is very balanced, crisp and drinkable. Nice head, best consumed freshly drafted in 0.2l Pilsener glasses. Insider hint: Never get the big glasses. And it takes a few min to pour, otherwise it's not good, so be patient.

Can. Clear straw with thin white bubbly head.
It smells of corn bread with an introduction of floral perfume noble hop. Quite a heady mix.
The taste reflects the aroma and is yet diminished. Sweet up front and then bitter.
Light to middling carbonation and body. Refreshing to begin and then a bit tacky.
A curates egg of a lager.

Pint can less than seven months old.
Appearance: Brilliant clear gold, fluffy white head with good retention. Fast rising bubbles.
Aroma: Floral
Flavor & Aftertaste: Spicy, herbal hops and low sweetness. Bread flour. Moderate bitterness with a dry finish. No mineral notes.
Mouth-feel: Soft, medium bodied
Overall: If you are looking at the BJCP description, this is spot on. It's clean, crisp, and drying. For a dry beer, it has a fairly soft mouthfeel and medium body. It starts malty, which very quickly gives way to spicy, flowery hops flavor then a moderate bitterness. The bitterness lingers a while into the finish but does not build on the palate. No hint of skunkyness or off-flavors. This is a fine example of a Northern Germany Pilsner.

Clear gold pour, steady white head. Nose is malt and floral, with herbs in the background.
Taste shows Pils, herbal bitterness, hay, some unripe apple. Mouthfeel is light. Finish is fairly crisp with steady, but not iverpowering, herbal bitterness.

Sweet for a German Pilsner. The primary flavor is Concord grape and brown sugar malt. It’s a flavor more common in Czech Pilsners. There’s minerals and basic bitter hops. Pretty average beer. Maybe slightly subpar. Definitely too sweet. Lacking citrus. Not a proper German pils in my opinion.

Reviewing again as I'm bored.
Cool can design. Mega smooth big head, bright colour. Head stays for ages and foam remains on the sides of the glass.
Aroma is deep and intense German hops (Hallertau it seems from doing research... the exact hops I associate with "German hops"). Kind of like Saaz but more aromatic. The hops aroma contrasts with an unfresh fermented malt aroma.
Punchy taste. Hallertau really reminds me of saaz hops (Urquell is literally the taste of saaz, I have tried a saas hop in tea and raw.) But it has a bit more aromatics compared with saaz, and is less dry. Should the name of a hop have a capital letter? No idea ; ) The taste reminds me of the honey flavour within Kromacher. But this is much dryer and with less chaos. For me the honey is a little too strong. More hops and a little more alcohol strength would improve it for sure. It is still crisp and pretty amazing. Strong lemon peel flavour coming through also. Mouth feel is dry, crisp and with a bitter honey kick in the aftertaste. If honey can be bitter. Maybe honeycomb is closer.
Close to being amazing but not quite. I think I prefer Radeberger, Krombacher and the German pilsner with the old man on, but I forgot its name.
Also where I live it costs around a pound for a can, and is significantly cheaper than other leading pilsners. Gets a 5 out of 5 overall score because of its amazing value.

Solid Pils and easy drinker. Poured in a glass, half inch head. Gold. Simple and classic Pils taste. Super crispy with a nice carbonation and bitterness. Hoppy through the mid and finish. Almost metallicy aftertaste.
