Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a thumb sized white head that falls fairly quick but leaves good lace behind.
Aroma is sweet honey and tropical fruit with a light pine resin underneath it all. Sweetness fades soon to orange, melon, pineapple and apricot . All the fruity hops are riding on a sweet malt base with touches of honey. Definitely smells of NE style.
Taste is sadly not as fruity and juicy as the nose, sweet bready malt doesn't seem to be there more like stale crackers with dried apricots and a orange peel/ pine cone mixture of light bitterness along with vegetable hints. Not really to bad just not up to the nose, also the problem I hind with most of this style not enough alpha acids.
Mouthfeel is medium with fairly peppy levels of carbonation.
Overall eh smells nice tastes ok once again I shouldn't of bought a NE style IPA lol.

Poured into a snifter. Hazy but not turbid golden color with a generous white head. Nice aroma - a big blast of tropical fruit, oranges, and some resin. The taste was good but did not match the aroma. All of the above notes were there, but it dried out on the finish with a bit of heat and astringency.
