From the 22 oz can in a snifter via the Little Lady's daughter---Cheers Jeanette!
This decent little American Stout pours a dark black with thin cola highlights and
a quickly dissipating mighty head of off white to tan foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin light clumping pool, and shows sparse lacing. Nose of dark cocoa, light char, subtle
smoke, and dark roasted malts with a hint of cream. Flavors lightly exceed the nose with
subtle coffee, dark roasted malts, faint dark fruit notes, light cola notes, and subtle cream.
Nice mouth feel; full body, medium high carbonation that gives a lot of lift, and a
roasted chocolate finish.
Overall, a nice brew but has a touch too much carbonation, that said
it is a very nice brew.
Cheers

Pours a black with brown around the edges when held to the light. Not sure if its just my can but on opening it started to foam so my glass is three fingers of beer and four fingers of tan head that leaves gobs of lace. Your beer may differ.
Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate its sweet smelling maybe some lactose thrown in too, but as it sits it smells more dry? Defiantly what the can advertises a chocolate stout.
Taste is roasted malts lightly burnt flavor some light espresso like or charcoal hints. almost some anise appearing too moving to herbal earth bitterness in the finish. It is a little strange smelling like sweet chocolate to start then moves to dryer stout without much chocolate or sweetness in the flavor.
Mouthfeel is only medium and made lighter b the carbonation that is just to peppy for a stout. But I do prefer most my beers on the lower CO2 spectrum.
Overall smells pretty good to start not sure where the chocolate runs off to or maybe my taste buds are just off tonight. Not bad really just not worth seeking it out.

Poured from 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found.
Dark cola colored body, with dark brown highlights when back lit. One finger tan head, sticks around when reduced to thin head and ring. Just a few spots of lacing left behind.
Aroma is dark roasted malt and chocolate
Taste is dark roasted malt and chocolate. Some floral hops contribute.
Thin mouth feel. Okay carbonation. Taste profile is chalky and dry.
This beer mostly expresses the dark roasted malts, and the advertised chocolate takes a back seat. Okay, but not a beer that calls for a second.
