Pours a very dark brown, almost black colour, with a rich ruby ting. Smells like very dark malts and coffee, with a slight sweetness. Tastes like slightly sweet and creamy chocolate.

L: Dark brown/black..ruby highlights
S: Aroma reminds of those milk chocolate slivers off an Easter bunny..(chocolate Easter bunny I should say)when you cut off a piece and there are little slivers of chocolate left behind...that kind of smell
T :Sweet chocolate malts but not sweet chocolate. If I had to guess the flavor comes from the malts and not any chocolate type of addition. I could be wrong but that is what it seems like. Certainly a natural milk chocolate flavor. Hops are not noticeble nor did I expect them to be.
F: 6% ABV a little steep but nowhere to be tasted and no boozy impression at all...Very creamy, velvet like texture...medium bodied.
O: This is a quality chocolate stout. It does a nice job of having a natural chocolate impression without becoming too sweet or artificial. I'd recommend this.
