Classic Brown Ale with notes of chocolate, roasted coffee, caramel, and toffee. Brewed in honor of our co-founders, two nutjobs with a dream, and the drive to make it a reality.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden brown color with a small, fluffy head of khaki-colored foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted coffee, chocolate, toffee and pine. Great coffee taste with roasted caramel malt, toffee and caramel.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown, almost black, but mostly deep brown color with a strong tan head that lingers. SRM of 21. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of brown bread, nuts, milk chocolate. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavor follows but with more chocolate. Hints of coffee and bittersweet roast follow. Mild roast and bitterness. Smooth finish. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. Smooth finish. (4.00)
Overall: Not a big brown ale fan, but gave this a go. Great flavors, but almost leans more toward a porter. Rich chocolate with some coffee and roastedness. This beer was brewed in tribute to their two founders. Lupulin is a great brewery and this is a very enjoyable and well-made beer. There's no THC in this beer, but I know that guy on the can is on a different cloud level. (Rating: 4.10)

Lupulin Two Nutz Brown Ale, 6% ABV. Pours deep brown, with a 4+ finger beige head that left great lacing. Aroma is sweet toffee, chocolate, and roast malt. Taste is roast malt, slightly sweet, equally bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent. No actual nuts were killed in the making of this beer.

Rich brown coloration, opaque, but showing clear at the bottom, with a slim, short-lived brownish head.
In the nose: Slightly sweet (but balanced), malty, nutty. Along comes hazelnut, brown sugar, caramel.
In the mouth: Low bitterness, minor hops, major malt. Substantial body in this one, almost stepping into "full", but not quite. Sweetness never cloys. A well put together brown ale, just the way we like it. Tasty, and definitely downable, ending on a dry note. I might even say delicious. Do all the D's while we're at it.

I am drinking this on tap at Lake & Irving. It is bright dark brown with a medium tan cap with fair retention. It smells like nuts with traces of chocolate. It drinks rich and creamy, lightly sweet with nuts in the forefront tempered by traces of chocolate and a very pleasant balancing hop bitterness. It has a medium body and very creamy, soft medium carbonation. This beer is easy to drink all night.
