Highly hazed, slim ivory head.
In the nose: Bright and lively citrus notes. Quite a hoppy one, this. Grapefruit, orange, pine.
In the mouth: A blast of citrus-y hops on the palate. Medium bodied, long hoppy finish, exquisite drinkability. Fresh and delicious.

This beer pours a hazy orange with a smallish head. The aroma is bright, almost tart, with notes of lemon peel, kiwi, pineapple, passion fruit, and herbal tea. The flavor zings with bright lemon peel and kiwi, tart passionfruit, grapefruit flesh, tangerine, honeycombe, and melon. The mouthfeel is light and gentle, with fizzing carbonation. Overall a well done, easy going beer, but with eniough complexity and shifting flavor to keep one interested.

Pours a hazy apricot orange with a thin white cap. No lacing. Aroma is a faint blend of tropical and citrus fruits. Flavor is orange rind up front and some dank hop bitterness in the finish. Feel is soft and well carbonated. Overall just another hazy IPA with no distinguishing characters to make it special.

a liberally dry hopped but somewhat delicate overall american pale ale with oats and wheat in the mash. a nicely dialed in recipe, and an on trend beer that drinks easier than many of its peers. there is good body from the other grains, and a cool cerealy flash of grainy sweetness in the flavor, but this is dry to finish. the malt extends the beer, i taste the hops longer than normal for the style, not just in the finish but all the way through in its juicy dry hoppy goodness. i understand there are a number of different varietals in here, but this one tastes a lot like mandarina bavaria with that tangerine rind character and soft oily profile, really juicy and fresh and good here. i get some canned pineapple and some lime too, but this is really balanced and seems super light for how flavorful it is. that vibe is aided by a floral freshness to the hops and by jovial carbonation, this one really sings, feels brand new, and refreshes me even when i am not particularly thirsty, which is a remarkable sensation if you have never experienced it. i was really impressed with these guys on my recent trip, and it appears the hype around their beer is well founded!
