another very solid ipa from these guys, this one quite a bit more robust than others i have had, more out of balance in favor of the hops, more juicy heavy dry hopped, and way more intense, but also not quite as well refined as i have come to expect their hoppy stuff to be, and a beer that smells and tastes darn good, but also one i only want to have one of for that reason. hazy yellow and a little still from the tap, with some swirling sediment and only lasting froth on the edges of the glass. the aroma is the best part, fresh juiced tropical fruit, mango and papaya and pineapple and banana even all from the hops, oily and even rich in that way, and with very little grain interference. the flavor is nice too, the hops are a little overdone, not in the bitterness department but in the sheer amount of vegetal matter in this beer, it hits the tongue and throat kind of harshly and almost makes me feel a little allergic to it, just really intense even though the flavors are great. its green and fresh and appealing still. drinks and sits a little heavy with the lesser carbonation, they could stand to crank that up a little bit, but if its new school hop character you are looking for, youll surely find it here. ive liked everything ive had so far from lupulin!

Pours a hazy lemon orange color with very nice lacing. Smell is fruity tropical hops. Taste has note of mango and citrus very little malts. Soft mouth feel yields very little bitterness. A tropical NEIPA that is very drinkable.
