We worked with Paradise Roasters to source green coffee beans that we then aged in a bourbon barrel. After aging, Paradise Roasters roasted the beans fresh for us to infuse into the beer, along with a heavy dose of Cacao nibs for a rich chocolate coffee flavor. Barrel aging to coffee prior to roasting brings in hints of vanilla and wood to complement the coffee and chocolate flavors of the beer.

Good head production and very nice retention.

Tons of roasty coffee on the nose, along with chocolate and vanilla notes. Caramel and toffee round out the malt base.

Similar on the profile, a touch sweeter, along with notes of red grape and raisin. Strong coffee notes, lasting well after the rest of the flavors have faded. Sweet and rich, but in an awkward way, similar to artificial sweeteners - but it also makes it come across similar to an iced latte.

Smooth and thick body.

Ultimately not my favorite coffee stout, but it's enjoyable, and it might be more to your liking depending on your particular preference.

Barrel aged beans before roasting. That's interesting.
Very dark with deep mahogany highlights in what is visible. Thinnish very dark head head is slow to settle out. good looking beer.
Roast, coffee, vanilla wood and and hints of some booziness in the aroma. Rich combination of scents.
Nice complexity to flavors. body is both thin and a little syrupy simultaneously. Soft dryness on the finish.
Pretty sweet and rich to start. Rich dark malts with nice fruit qualities. Coffee is less here. Some chocolate. Vanilla comes through.
I like this more than I expected. It flows really nice. Smooth rich combination of flavors and aromas

Never had coffee that tastes like cheap fudge. This is almost headache inducing from the sweetness
Alcohol is well hidden by overpowering chocolate syrup yrul flavor, wouldn't think this is 11%.
Aging the beans in bourbon barrels didn't help round this out at all.
If what you consider "coffee" is a Starbucks Frappucino with 15 pumps of chocolate and vanilla syrup then this is true to the name.
I would have never bought this if i sampled it.

Pours a thick'n chewy black, tan head that lingered, but alas no lacing. Boogar factory says coffee and cocoa, taste buds get all that, some vanilla and of co6some whiskey, that being said, too much cocoa and coffee, very close to being too sweet. Pretty good beer, the added junk, was a bit too much.

This was from a $20 4 pack in southwest florida. Poured into a giant snifter, got the whole thing in one glass all right all right all right. Dark brown deep dark brown and a nice tan head like a florida tan, piled up 2 inches high for at least 30 seconds. Smell is coffee coffee coffee. Like I just poured it out from a starbucks cup like a pikes place on the cool side. Also a bit of cola scent too, And the taste - wow i'm impressed! Chocolatey sweet coffee, just like a caffee mocha. Man just like a mocha. It's rich and strong, not too bitter, all sweetness but not cloying. Damn am i impressed! Mouthfeel is medium thin with just a slight buzz of effervescence. Overall, I'm very impressed by this really sneaky ass beer. It didn't seem like much at first, but they should be charging way more for this beer than they are. I'm really happy to have tried it and I think this is one of the best coffee beers I've had.

Pours a black with nice thumb sized dark tan head from aggressive pour.

Aroma is big coffee and chocolate, hot bourbon notes, light vanilla. Smells like a big brew, just a little hot smelling but doesn't distract from the beer.

Taste is like the nose, big roasted notes, good coffee and dark chocolate, good vanilla, oaked bourbon nice and smooth. Taste is a little hot but it blends well and and doesn't distract.

Mouthfeel is a little light for a 11% brew but still a big medium, it is smooth with pretty nice smooth carbonation.

Overall it is a good stout, big flavorable brew.

16oz can with a date of 01/24/22 so it is nice and fresh. Black color with a finger of tan head. The aroma has a surprising amount of bourbon considering only the coffee beans have been aged in bourbon barrels. Also getting a lot of cacao but little in the way of actual beer aromas. First sip and I think this would of been a much better beer without the cacao. It covers up much of the subtle coffee and barrel features. As far as what the actual base beer is like, I don't know. I am just hit with a lot of chocolate and vanilla with coffee in the finish. Too sweet and the amount of unfermented sugar is boggling. Alcohol is well hidden. Nice body and carbonation. Does not feel like a big stout. If I would of known this was just going to be just another pastry stout, I would of left it on the shelf. If you happen yourself on someone that is hypoglycemic, feed them this beer and it will bring them back.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a coal black with a
fantastic head of tan foam that settles to a thick layer with excellent lacing.
Nose of dark cocoa, dark coffee, cream, and faint oak with hints of dark fruit
and touches of cream. Flavors NAIL IT! Dark coffee, cream, vanilla, moderate
oak, wafting bourbon elements, and touches of dark fruits of raisin and
nice toffee. Excellent mouth feel; full, smooth as silk, moderately creamy,
teetering on cloying but near perfect on the sweetness, low carbonation,
and a sweet bitter malt finish.

Overall----WOW,,,nothing more than WOW. Saving one for a friend!

Cheers

Coffee Shop Assault Vehicle has a thin, khaki head, a very dark brown appearance, and no lacing. The aroma is of heavy, dark coffee and cocoa, with faint bourbon and roasted malt. The flavor is very sweet, chocolate bar, dark coffee, and malts. It is not bitter. Coffee Shop Assault Vehicle has a heavy body and a velvety mouthfeel, with a sweet finish.
