This version of our Lateralus Imperial Stout was infused with freshly roasted coffee beans from our friends at Paradise Roasters in Minneapolis, and then dosed with plenty of creamy vanilla.

16oz can from TopTen. A date.

This is my 1000th review on this site and it marks a few different milestones in my life... Big changes and almost insurmountable difficulties await me. I didn't choose this beer to be #1000, it just shook out that way

Got a bonfire lit, now getting lit off this 11%'er. This one the alcohol's apparent, but that's okay. This is a man's beer... if that man has a sweet tooth like a young boy. Coffee bean and hop bitterness overwhelmed by Hershey's syrup and rotgut vodka. All that said, it's good somehow, haha. It makes me want another. Just one more to completely obliterate me, but in a savory delectable way

I cried when I drank this brew, sue me if I write too long. Deacon Blues lyrics, foo's

On tap at Brewskival 2019.

Pours jet black with some tan head.

Smell is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted coffee, french toast and licorice.

Taste is rich and sweet, with notes of chocolate, coffee, waffles, licorice and a slight bitterness on the end.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a really nice stout, just wished for a little bit more on the smell.

Had on tap. Jet black body with a ring of light brown foam and slight lacing. Smell is strong dark roast coffee, bright vanilla, and dark chocolate roasted malts. Taste is exactly as promised, first and foremost a rich coffee stout, then met with a dash of cool vanilla, with dark chocolate, roasted malt, and a very slight hint of coconut. Feel is highly roasted, smooth and thick.
