Goose Island Nonic Pint

Deep dark brown with slight black tinges and a creamy grey head of 1/2 finger.

Aroma is of green pepper, slight chocolate, dirt/clay, slight milk sugar, and slight dry cocoa.

Flavor brings acidic coffee and slight green pepper, somehow overshadowing the typical Javatized roast malt balance, finishing with slight chocolate sweetness on the back end that fades rather quickly.

Feel is thinner than typical Javatized, with a roasty, almost clay-like feel, and a creamy finish with some slight sparks of carbonation.

Overall less weird than the vanilla perfume variant, but nothing has matched the original yet.

Lupulin Mochatized Coffee Stout, 6% ABV. Pours black and thin, with a one-finger brownish head that left some lacing. Nose is not much. Taste is chocolate, roast malt, and coffee. Slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Mouthfeel is thin. Overall very good.

Pours a deep dark brown with a thick light tan head. Decent retention, minimal lacing. Aroma is full of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is dark roasted malts, coffee and cocoa. Feel is on the thinner side of medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Overall an average coffee/milk stout.
