This refreshing American Style Pilsner was brewed using real, hard working, all American hops. Cascade and Palisade band together creating a blend of grapefruit, citrus and floral notes, backed up with a clean malt base.

Tons of foam, not much smell. It's crispy and light with a subtle heavy hopping, there's bitter lemon but no fruit or pine. Sweet but not cloying, well carbonated and not too bitter while still being heavily-hopped

Solld pils, nothing overly great, but it certainly hits the spot on a hot, FL summer day…

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium to light golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 5-6. (4.00)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of pale malts, flower, some yeast and bready notes. Hints of citrus within.
Flavor: Mild flavors upfront of light and tropical citrus. Turns flowery. Bread notes and yeast in the middle with a crispy, crackery, and flowery finish. Some smooth honey and bready notes as it warms. Mild bitterness is present.
Feel: Light-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Flowery and crisp, with a light bitterness that lingers. (4.00)
Compared to House Brewing Premium Lager 6/27/22: Pours lighter, milder head. Milder aromas. More citrus and flower. Less bread and biscuit malt. Lighter, crackery, and cleaner.
to Bahaus Wonderstuff 6/27/22: Pours lighter, milder head. Milder aromas. More citrus and flowery notes. Less bread and honey. Very similar flavors, but a lighter body.
Compared to WarPigs Salmon Pants 8/17/22: Pours a lighter color. Milder aromas. More pale malts, yeast. Less tropical and citrus fruit. Maltier and larger bodied.
Compared to Falling Knife Tomm's Lager 8/17/22: Pours a similar color, similar aromas. More smooth pale malts. Less lemongrass, yeast, and bread. Smoother, but somewhat similar.
Overall: I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, called an American pilsner, yet listed on here as a German Pilsner. It's hopped with Cascade and Palisade for a hoppy and floral flavor, so it definitely leans toward the German version. Mild though. A lightly hoppy pilsner like many US breweries are making. Nice grapefruit and lemon citrus hop flavors. Very floral. Crisp and clean. Enjoy the style and this is a great beer, yet the name and style are misleading. (Rating: 3.95

Poured from a pint can into a Nonic.
The look is pure AAL. Very light gold in color with a nice inviting head and bubbles streaming from the bottom of the glass.
The nose is initially clean, but some adjunct-like sweetness creeps, and the smell overall is a little "off." I'm not getting the offensive aromas others have referenced, but I agree it isn't quite right. Floral and grassy hops in the background. I don't get the citrus on the nose.
The flavor is excellent. It may look like an AAL and smell a little weird, but it packs a nice balance between a very slightly sweet but otherwise clean pale malt on the front end and very present but not heavy-handed citrusy and grassy hops.
Meidum-light-bodied and very drinkable. Doesn't quite reach "crisp," but still good.
It looks and tastes great. The smell is pretty distracting, though, and it seems just a shade heavier than it should be. Fix that and it would be super.

Looks like a Miller or Budweiser. IBU listed on the label suggests this is multiple X hoppier than either of the ones I mentioned but all I smell is plastic. Sort of an Industrial chemical or maybe soapy aroma but there is some citrus underneath that unpleasantness. Flavor has a lot of citrus and dry which is different from American Macros and has a bit musty maltiness that gives a pleasant surprise. It is light and not as fizzy as most of the style. Drinks nicely. Gotta rate it like the rest of the macros. A real unpleasant aroma but otherwise better than drinking a Bud.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'CANNED 06/07/21'.
Clear, straw colored body. One finger of white head, which sticks around as thin cap. Lacing is left behind as bubbles and strings.
Aroma is floral hops, and lightly toasted malts. There is also a sulphur like smell.
Taste is quite full of a lightly toasted malt base, with hops expressing floral and citrus (especially grapefruit). Bitterness at the end is similar to citrus pith. Aftertaste is short lived.
Medium mouth feel. Very good carbonation. Quick to dry and require another sip.
Easy drinking pilsner, with more hop emphasis with the citric.
