Straight Hash Homie is made using only pure, 100% Lupulin powder. In the boil, while whirlpooling, and dry hopping (or Hash Hopping.) We packed our bowl a second time with that sticky icky to blast your buds with that hashy goodness. Don’t park on it, sip, sip, pass..

Pours a foggy bright orange, big white head that hung around, then faded to a thin cap, some nice lacing. Fruity aromas abound, melon, pineapple and some orange, taste buds get all that, a moderately bitter finish. Smooth, creamy texture, carbonation seemed spot on. I had the non-DDH yesterday, I enjoyed this a bit more, I'd buy this in a heartbeat if it was available here. Thanks to Jerry in Minneapolis for this.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy orange golden with a thin creamy head. Aroma is hoppy, malty, light dank notes. Dank, herbaceous taste, faint citrus, weedy. Not so hoppy at the finish, but flavor is all hops.

Tasted from a guest tap at Third Planet Brewing’s Mothership in Niceville, FL. This was a delicious, cloudy, dank DIPA. Nicely made.

Draught pour in a tulip glass at Slackers. Super dank, good body, quite tasty and approachable. I'm ordering a 2nd pour, wouldly gladly repeat and recommend for those who love dank WCIPAs.

A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down but left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pineapple are present in the nose along with notes of melon and hints of grapefruit.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of honeydew melon, orange and pineapple. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The concentrated aromas and flavors of hops in this IPA were very pleasant. The beer was very drinkable.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'CANNED 04/12/21'.
Mostly clear, deep gold colored body. One finger of white head. Partial sheets of lacing left behind.
Aroma of intense hop powder - pineapple, orange, grapefruit, melon and a little pine.
Taste is supercharged hop powder - pineapple, orange, grapefruit, melon and a little pine. Semi sweet and very little bitterness.
Mouth feel is full, with close to a hop singe. Good carbonation. Some syrup and stickiness.
A hop nectar that balances the sweet and the concentrated hop powder. I hold this brew in high regard. Toward the edge but never gets out of balance. Totally positive drinking experience.

Clear dark amber with a creamy cream colored head, with some suspended yeast here and there. Orange, grapefruit, melon, pineapple and a hint of cranberry in the nose. Taste follows with orange, grapefruit, melon, pineapple and now papaya with some resin, before mellow dry hops finish. Isn't a lot of movement through the sip. Feel is resinous, soft, verging on syrupy. Liked the orignal much better

16 oz can, 4/17/20, into Parish Brewing Teku.

Pours a rather clear looking honey colored body with very slight chill haze, but nothing juicy here. A tall creamy head of 3 fingers recedes gradually to 1 finger and leaves soapy lacing that disappears as it dries.

Aroma is of wet citra and mosaic pellets. Lots of cantaloupe. Dank apricot, juicy orange, smoke, blueberry, pineapple, and tangerine.

Flavor is tropical and tasty. White grapefruit, then some pith, sweet apricot, sweaty wet cantaloupe, tangerine, and orange rind. Bitterness is kept to a minimum, and it really brings nice juicy fruits. The bitterness does begin to soak in and compound on the palate the more it is sipped and brings a sort of iron-y taste to it but the fruits are still nice and present.

Feel is heavily carbonated, acidic/juicy, and slightly resinous.

Overall, I was hoping it would be a nice creamy juice bomb, but I didn't get that here. What I do get is a ton of tropical fruit in the aroma and flavor with some great acidity. I personally think Lupulin's 4 packs are probably the best IPA available in the Sioux Falls SD area which isn't saying much unfortunately. Incredibly pricey for what you get, but still a fair to okay beer overall.

Price paid : $17.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : no
