Sophistry 07, the latest in our experimental IPA series is here! Citra's tropical notes of mango and papaya blend together with Amarillo's notes of juicy tangerine, to create a dank marmalade hop juice, with a big rich body, courtesy of the most rye and wheat we've ever used in this series.
Malts: 2 row, white wheat, flaked rye, prairie pils, unmalted white wheat

Poured from pint can into shaker pint glass. Canned 08/04/20.
A: Pours a slightly hazy orange hue with 1 inch frothy/bubbly white head with excellent retention.
S: Orange, grapefruit, pine resin, tangerine, and mango.
T: Juicy orange and mango creme, soft and sweet grapefruit, and subtle tangerine, pineapple, and pine resin. Lovely!
M: Medium body. Soft and supple feel. Citrus and tropical fruit sweetness with a touch of cream. Mild bitterness throughout. Lingers nicely on the palate.
D: Another solid offering from the Sophistry line! Very approachable, refreshing, and decent complexity. Well executed. Cheers, Lupulin!

Lupulin Sophistry 7 Imperial IPA, 8% ABV. Pours hazy light orange with a three-finger white head that left lots of lacing. Nose is light citrus and melon, taste follows, slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Pours a hazy golden straw color. Smell has citrus with lemon grass . Taste is fruity with oranges and grapefruit,bursts of lemon and some herbal hops. A soft and sweet topical mouth feel slight drying in the finish.
