Latest of Lupulin's amazing Big Beers. As the brewer described it, "(A) blend of our Chocolate Orange Lateralus aged 1 year in two Tattersall Distilling orange liqueur barrels, with Barrel God aged in one Tattersall Distilling rum barrel. Now I am usually skeptical of rum barrel-aging - always too much rum. This treat is subdued in both the orange liqueur (much better than just orange) and craft rum. These, plus the chocolate, blend spectacularly to make this 13% ABV stout dangerously drinkable.
Dark dark brown with little more than a small ring and an oily coating. I did not get a great deal of aroma. It's in the flavor. Such a rich base beer with these balanced additions. While I may age some, it is totally drinkable now.
