Fairly clear straw colored pour, though a bit more murky than the base beer. The head was thick 3 finger, and white, but the retention is poor. There's a decent amount of carbonation rising in the glass.
The nose is malty - rice, some biscuit. I also get a faint hint of the coffee in the aroma.
Up front it is just like the base beer - malty, biscuit, slightly sweet, slight honey and a hint of lemon. The back is where the coffee kicks in. It isn't a strong flavor, but it's there and adds to the flavor of the base.
Light body, crisp feeling.
Quite delicious, and adds a flavor that works well with this beer.
