Brewed in honor of Bob Feuling, exclusively for West Side Liquor. Bob Feuling with his wife Linda owned and operated the Westside Liquor stores. He was a great man with incredible determination. This beer’s for Bob.

Clear, light brown pour; dark brown and opaque in the glass; thick, frothy head, long-lasting, sticky head, spidery webs of foam stick to the glass; beautiful thick rings of foam step down the glass. Pleasant dark malt aroma; earthy sweetness; hint of brown sugar. Excellent malt flavor; roasted grains; roasted nuts; hickory nuts; well-rounded bitterness; modest, earthy sweetness; light chocolate. Medium body; smooth with a delicate residual coating on the palate.
This is a fine brown ale. One doesn't see to many examples of this style anymore. It may be a tad weak in the smell but otherwise delivers a robust, hardy roasted malt beauty with just the right edge of sweetness and bitterness.
ABV: 6%; pouring temperature: 48 °F; canning info: 09/30/2024

Many thanks to Victory Sabre for this one.
Gorgeous looking beer with a thick billowing khaki colored head. Dark brown, opaque, but not seemingly cloudy. Only drawback is a large amount off yeasty floaters in the beer. Would be higher if it didn't have those.
Aroma is nutty, earthy, and very malty with a touch of earthy hops.
Taste is more of the same with the hops being a bit more pronounced in the profile than on the nose.
Feel is moderately bodied, lively carbonation, easy drinking and smooth.
Overall a very nice american brown ale

Basically a blackish brown body, along with a thin, light brown head. Prominent roasted malt notes and a nutty flavor, with a bit of breadiness and chocolate. Same with the taste. I was expecting a bit more body, but not bad. Medium carbonation. Develops more of a flavor profile as it warms. Overall a nice brown ale.

Brewed in collaboration with west side liquors . This beer memorializes former west side liquors owner Bob feuling, a successful local farmer
Poured into a pretentious glass , obsidian black brown liquid, one finger brown foam cap , settles to a ring with spotty lacings
Aroma is nutty, earthy , roasted malts
Taste is earthy, nutty, roasty malts linger on the finish
Fizzy mouthfeel
Good beer

Received from @victorySaber in NBW BIF #16.
Poured dark brown, like, dark black coffee and just as impenetrable in the glass.
The aroma was faint for my nose, but I did get a little malty warmth and a touch of hops edge.
The taste came in layers; first was the malty biscuit almost savory nutty flavors, this transitions into a hopped and creamy (yes, new to me as well)
The feel for a brown ale was great, it had body, it had depth.
One of the best brown ales I think I’ve had, thanks James!

Dark brown pouring from the can, with a very thick tan colored head - 3 finger. The bubbles in the head are for the most part fairly small. The head retention is quite good, and there's some incredible lacing on the glass.
Notes of brown sugar, and a roasted nut aroma on the nose.
Taste - Up front I get brown sugar first then the nutty flavor. The front flavors then change on the back to a sight hoppy bitterness that compliments the nuts and brown sugar. The bitterness on the back reminds me more of an English Brown more so than an American.
The body is thick, a lot thicker than you'd think a 6% would be. Smooth and creamy feeling, with the bitter feeling on the back that sticks to my throat.
This is one hell of a solid beer. They knocked it out of the park with this one.
