This is an old school IPA and its flavor originates from when spoke wheels and drop six-fours were hot. This beer hearkens back to IPA's English roots, but with classic American hops like cascade and centennial.

Canned 7/8/24 (2 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely clear, medium to deep orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8-9. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, orange marmalade, some apricot, melon, and honey. Sweet pine. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong flavors follow of tropical orange marmalade, apricot, some sweet melon and pine. Finish leans slightly heavy and sweet. Mild bitterness. (4.00)
Feel: Heavier bodied, average carbonation. Sweet, mildly bitter finish. (3.75)
Overall: Another West-Coast IPA. First try at this one. Cascade and Centennial. Drinks more along the likes of a midwest IPA than a west-coast. Has the malt sweetness and tropical flavors. Bitterness is hidden amongst the sweetness here. I find it sometimes hard to find an authentic west-coast IPA. Many people make them, but not with the authentic and classical bitterness it should have. (Rating: 3.87)
