Collaboration with Talking Waters Brewing Company in Montevideo, Minnesota.
We got together with our friends from Talking Waters Brewing Company and brewed up a new batch of Pils, PLZ, an elevated version of your typical Italian-style Pilsner. It’s crisp & smooth with a dry finish, but we took it up a notch and dry-hopped it with Ariana and Calista hops this time, adding floral and bright citrus and berry notes that balance well with the Eraclea malts.

From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Pale yellow, good head.
Smell: Crackers, grassy.
Taste: Mild sweetness, then some cracker-like malt and a bit of grass. Balanced, not super bitter/hoppy.
Overall: Easy pickup at $4.99 for a 4 pack, this is a DDH Italian pilsner that tastes like a standard pilsner. Works for me, easy drinking and balanced flavor.
