On-tap at Garden Grove Brewing Company, Richmond, VA
A: The beer is clear dark amber in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a collar of beige bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark fruits are present in the nose—cherries stand out in particular.
T: The taste follows teh smell and has flavors of dark fruits such as cherries along plums along with hints of vanilla from the wine barrel aging and Belgian yeast. There is a bit of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with aromas and flavors of dark fruits but what impressed me most was how well it had any traces of alcohol from the taste.
