Poured a black body with minimal head and a lace ring down the glass. Aroma is mostly bitter chocolate with bits of roasted malts and not much else. Smooth, almost a lactic quality to beer, easy to drink, balances bitter chocolate and roasted malts for a sweet beer that has balance and finishes dry. Not a beer to wow you but it's worth trying.
