A Bourbon barrel aged double chocolate stout, 4 oz pour, $4
Dark silky black, fingernail of head.
Aroma of burnt and charred malt, burnt wires, slight dark chocolate.
This tastes like a bad expired chocolate porter. No barrel AT ALL, the beer is anorexic, and the flavors are bad. Dark charred malt, green vegetables, bitter dark chocolate, with very slight vegetal milky sweetness. Pure hot iron wraps this disaster up.
Feel is thin and heavily carbonated, not smooth, slightly resiny. Char.
Tasting like a circuit board malfunction, I couldn't bear to finish this beer. It was on the lower side of awful. They may be using world class geothermal spring water but they're making dogshit with it.
