A 330ml can with a BB of Nov 2018. Acquired a while back from a webshop. Described on the label as a session IPA with a fruity character; hopped with Centennial, Columbus and Summit.
A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned and lively. A rich, hazy amber colour with tons of floating sediment and moderate carbonation. Produces a vast head of fluffy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before collapsing to a patchy surface layer. Slight lacing.
S: Aroma of sharp fruity hops with hints of tropical fruits, white fruit, mild citrus zest, peel, earthy yeast and subtle pale malt. Crisp and hoppy - pretty good.
T: Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with notes of citrus zest, peel, tropical fruit, white fruit, subtle grass/hay, earthy yeast, pale malt and faint stewed hops. Very dry, followed by a robust hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body for the strength. Mildly astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of fruity aroma hops, citrus, mild tropical fruit, earthy yeast and faint malt.
O: OK though not mind-blowing. Subpar looks, while the aroma and flavour are dominated by fruity hops and modest yeast/malt notes. Decent body. Drinkable but forgettable - no need to hunt it down.
