A 440ml can with a BB of July 2019. Purchased recently from ASDA. The label mentions that this is hopped with Summit and Citra.
A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned. A hazy amber hue with intense carbonation and fine suspended sediment. Yields a huge head of fluffy white foam that lasts for a while before settling as a thick surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of zealously fruity hops with hints of grapefruit, orange, citrus zest, peel, mild tropical fruit, white fruits, ale yeast, pale malt and a touch of caramel. Excellent.
T: Tastes of seriously aromatic hops with notes of grapefruit, citrus zest, peel, tropical fruit, white grape, ale yeast, earthiness, pale malt and faint caramel. Pretty dry, followed by a robust hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body for the strength. Somewhat astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, grapefruit, citrus, ale yeast, earthiness and pale malt.
O: Very nice - a lovely pale ale with intense fruity character. Looks superb, while the aroma and flavour are replete with citrus notes, hop bitterness, ale yeast and pale malt. Nice body. Goes down a treat; it's great to see beers of this calibre in supermarkets. Well worth sampling if you come across it.
