Tasty and quite smoky. Sweet and sugary with a bit of a brown ale character, yet still nicely blackish. Feel is pretty light and a little sweet-slick.

Pours a very dark brown color with tan colored head. Roasted malts, lots of roast, some chocolate and a little coffee on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with more nice roasted notes. Not bad for an intro dark ale.
