Really like this beer, but find myself comparing it to others I like even more, like Great Raft Grace & Grit (which, I know is a DIPA). I do like it, but it's not quite as smooth as some of the other DDH IPAs I've sampled.

After a tiny sample at a growler spot on the way home from work, this was a green light to fill my 32 oz. Later on....Wow hazy yellow pour- looks like pineapple juice or something. Low white head. Appears rich and smooth when tilting the glass. Almost looks like a fruit smoothie.
Smell is plenty of mostly yellow grapefruit juice, mango, a bit of orange and some pineapple juice, all in a sweet hop bouquet.
Taste is sweet grapefruit-hoppy goodness, medium, smooth and silky rich of a mouthfeel. I love that it’s not too bitter. The fresh tropical/ citrus fruit remains in the mouth after each sip. This is a great-drinking IPA. So it’s galaxy, mosaic and citra, in that order of quantities used.
This is something you need to seek out if you like hazy IPA’s, dry-hopped IPA’s from Texas (ie Lone Pint’s Yellow Rose), or IPA’s in general really. This stands out on its own.

Hello New England Style from Texas! This beer pours as hazy as it can get. The head is bright white. Nose is JUICY! So is the taste. Lots of hop flavors that linger. Great beer!
