12oz canned 8-13-18
1/4" white head on a thick, opaque yellow/gold hazy IPA. Head retains at a cap and leaves a nice lace.
Oranges, citrus, ripe pineapple. Aroma is all hops...juicy IPA/NEIPA.
Zingy hops, some fresh mingled with some ripe flavors that mirror the aroma.
Full bodied, round and creamy mouthfeel. True to style with low bitterness and lots of hop flavor.
The style as a whole is missing something for me.
Easy to drink and full of flavor. Hard to believe it's at 7.2%.

Recommended by just about everybody at WhichCraft in Austin. Grabbed a can for mixed six, and glad I did. Very good solid IPA. Not familiar with Idaho-7 and t'n't hops and enjoyed the blend with citra. Very tasty and smooth. Hides the abv nicely as well.
2 very good beers from Tupps during this recent beer safari.

Impression from a can:

Tropical, pulpy, juicy. Pale malt. Wheat. Tangerine, citrus, orange, faint mango.

Depth of flavour could be improved. Could be more complex.

Soft yet acidic. Refreshing. Smooth. A bit dry. Not too thick. Not oily, astringent, harsh, rough, or scratchy.

Drinkable and enjoyable, if a bit pricey for its quality relative to other beers in this ludicrously oversaturated style.

Appears very hazy and the foamy head towers to the rim of my glass and nearly flows over on the pour. Sticks and remains.
Nose is a nutty, lightly-perfumed hop bouquet of citrus zest.
Wow the taste is even more peanut/ nutty malts surrounded by juicy/ nicely bitter bursts of fruity hops with fresh grapefruit for sure, red cherry hints and orange notes, and with black pepper and pine.
Feel is smooth and somewhat slick with medium carbonation and a medium body. Just when I think it’ll turn dry it balances out superbly with a nice juicy zing at the end.
Now I know the reason I was offered a waiting list once I checked on this at the better local bottle shop I visit. Weeks earlier I tried a small growler fill of their 2nd series, and really enjoyed it. This one takes the cake though. This double dry-hopped thing is really something else. It’s my favorite IPA method to drink these days.
