This has a nice murky, bright golden color to it, topped off with a nice thick head, very fluffy and thick lacing.
Mild wheat grass and a hint of lemon zest.
The taste is crisp, zesty-back to the lemon zest, decent bitterness
Mouthfeel was good, a bit on the lighter side, but clean, crisp and smooth overall
Not bad overall, it does remind me more of an IPA lacking the bitterness, but this is very tasty, very refreshing and smooth.

Day of the Dead from Tupps Brewery. 12 oz can from Spec’s, DeZavala, San Antonio, TX, from 11/09/21. $ 2.74 (including tax) ($ 0.228/oz). Stored at room temperature in store and at 40 degrees after purchase. Reviewed 13/03/22. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Undated can. Served at 44.4 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 54.6 degrees.
Appearance – 3.5
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), slight haze.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), opaque. When rear-lite, translucent, and hazy.
Head – Large (Maximum 4.3 cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density with average retention, diminishing to a one to 1.3 cm undulating crown and rocky cap.
Lacing – Good. Approaching torn curtains, with many medium bubbles and long, spindly stalactites.
Aroma – 4 – Bright citrus, mostly lemon with a hint of orange, no malt, no yeast.
Flavor – 4 – Much less citrusy than the nose implies, more floral/fruity. A hint of malt, no yeast. No ethanol (5.5% ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma; however, there is no gastric warming. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, approaching creamy, soft but lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 (After deducting 0.25 point for undated personal container) For being at least six months old, this has held up well, with the citrusy hops still coming through. The 20 IBUs are still evident, and it tastes/smells like the pale ale as which it is billed.

Thanks to Ozzylizard for this one, from his recent hits during NBS BIF #14. 12oz can (dated 9/20/21) poured into 14oz teku. Poured the expected murky and turbid yellow-orange of the style with an inch-and-a-half of white head that good retention and lacing.
The scent and aroma were very similar; frooty hops, no grain, no yeast.
The body was the typical light-medium of the style, smooth, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was good, for a murkbomb.
Overall, another average murky brew. If you like the style, you'll enjoy this one.

Pours a cloudy light orange color with a fat finger of rocky, slightly-yellowed head. Decent retention gives way to rings of lacing.
Catty aroma of white wine, pepper, green onion and distant citrus.
Pineapple-like tropical fruit sweetness is added to the citrus in the taste, which while light, overtakes the depth and complexity of the nose. Citrus pith bitterness mixes with some Playdoh in the fairly watery finish.
Light bodied with fizzy carbonation.
Starts out strong, but ends up finishing middle-of-the-pack at best. The wonders of the aroma just don’t carry over to the taste.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange-yellow color with a huger head of puffy white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a peach and apricot aroma mixed with some tropical fruit smells of papaya and pineapple. Along with these aromas comes notes of grass and a bit of herb as well as some smells of orange and a bit of must and grain.
Taste – The taste begins with a big bready and light yeasty taste that has some of the tropical fruit and apricot/peach tastes that were in the nose. Along with those tastes is a moderate showing of orange and a bit of herbal hop. As the taste moves forward notes of more herbal hop and a bit of citrus hop come to the tongue. At the same time some of the sweetness fades a bit and is replaced by a bit of earthiness. The mix of flavors takes the taste to its end, leaving one with a rather nice, somewhat chewy, but rather approachable and easy drinking taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body was slightly thicker and chewier for a brew of only 5.5 % abv, with a carbonation level that was average. The feel was pretty nice for the most part, accentuating the fruit, bready malt, and moderate hop rather well.
Overall – A good, and decently malty and hopped-up pale. Overall, a nice hazy pale.

This beer has a really nice head on the poor. The aroma is more like a west coast ipa with pine notes. The taste is well balanced, it is very hop forward without being overly bitter. It has a traditional orange citrus beginning that ends with a little bitterness from that same orange's rind. It would be very easy to enjoy a couple of these on a warm day!

Can to glass...Hazy yellow pour with huge foam. Huge foam. Leaves great chunks of lacing.
Nose is pineapple concentrate and malts.
Taste is a mineral-citrus type of beer that just lacks flavor other than it being citrusy. There’s a slightly floral hop presence. It’s dry. Somewhat refreshing.
Mouthfeel is highly carbonated and effervescent.
Looks terrific, so much head retention.
