Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super hazy and thick orange juice like color with a huge billowy white head of foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, very slowly fading over time to leave tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is huge of a citrus orange juice smell mixed with some other aromas of grapefruit and some herbal and grassy hops. Overall the aroma is of a hopped orange juice smell and is quite delicious.
Taste – The taste begins as one may expect from the nose with tons of orange juice citrus and some bready malt along with flavors of a grapefruit and herbal hop. As the taste advances some grapefruit and orange rind as well as a touch of lemon citrus come to the tongue. With a rather substantial increase in hop tastes of a herbal nature as well as some more hop tastes of grapefruit and pine, one is left with a sweet citrus, but yet somewhat dank and flavorful taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is chewy and thick with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the big orange juice flavors mixed with the dank hop the feel is great and makes for a nice flavorful sipper.
Overall – A very citrusy and dank hopped NEIPA. Very flavorful and tasty!!
