On tap at the brewery with my Dallas hosts. This felt plenty big and bold, so I can only imagine with the Full Grown Man tastes like. Lots of roasty goodness and chocolate notes. The ABV makes it a sipper.

Pours a nice dark brown color. 2 finger brownish head. Retention is decent. The head dissipates into a nice ring of foam around the edge of the glass.
The nose has tons of coffee notes in it. Some sweet malts. Some chocolate.
Taste - Coffee is more up front. On the backside I get some caramel and toffee. Some dark chocolate also on the backside.
The coffee has a feeling that lingers. Decent body.
Solid beer. Very pleasing.

Black with a billowy tan head. Roasted malt aroma with a hint of black coffee. More coffee than chocolate in the flavor, not terribly bitter as some coffee stouts are but a bit too much like black coffee for my taste and with the same kind of lingering bitterness. Otherwise okay.

As I sip on this liquid breakfast, I find the taste to be superior over most other stouts, IMO. Taste is not too rich, not very sweet at all, not too heavy, and outright easy drinking. The can says 8.3% abv , but whatever natural caffeine it has in it kind of offsets this alcohol content. Overall, very nice brew. Thanks Tupps

Pours an effervescent Chestnut with 3 fingers of mocha colored head. better than average head retention & lacing
S: Chocolate, iron, wet dog surfaces briefly & then vanishes, coffee once warm
T: Cocoa, faint coffee, a little caramel & a little dryness up front, plus some roastyness. Roastyness, a little vanilla & more coffee once warm. Finishes dry, roasty with coffee & a little cocoa
MF: Light/Medium body, light carbonation
A solid take on the style, wanted more from the body

Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown, nearly black color with a one finger head of brown foam. The head fades over a moderate level of time to leave a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of a roasted malt smell mixed with some aromas of cocoa and coffee. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a vanilla smell as well as a touch of caramel and molasses.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter caramel and molasses with lots of roasted malt and a touch of coffee and cocoa. For a chocolate and coffee stout the flavors remains light throughout the taste. The sweet however gets more and more potent and is joined by a little bit of a vanilla flavor which adds to the sweetness. Toward the end a little bit of char and smoke come to the tongue and leave one with a sweet and roasty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the style a little lower carbonation level may have been slightly better, but overall the feel was OK for the sweeter and roasty mix.
Overall – I would have liked a little more cocoa and coffee for a brew that touts them on the lablel. While lacing the two aforementioned flavors, the feel was still pretty decent and for the price point is a good brew.
