Extremely pale color, very hazy, with a moderate head. Tropical fruit aroma, though a little faint. Flavor is actually pretty good: more tropical fruit hop taste, but a decent amount of bitterness too to balance out the sweetness. Not very complex, but tasty. Light bodied for the strength, and drinkable. Not bad.

Picked up a single can. Date on can 01/02/2024. Have previously had the pale ale version of the Juice Pack, apparently they have reformulated it into an IPA.
Pours a hazy, golden color with hints of copper and a beautiful two finger thick frothy head on top with great retention and a ton of lacing as you drink. Lots of sediments in this one. Carbonation looks average with some bubbles rising up. Other than the sedimentation, it's quite pretty on the pour.
Aroma is very fruity with some pine zest and a bit of breadiness lurking in the background. Pineapple, mango, stone fruit even some banana in there. Smells fresh and inviting!
Taste follows the nose well. Lots of fruity hoppiness. Peach, apricot, lemon, pineapple, passion fruit with some pine zest towards the swallow. No discernable malt notes, but I can tell it's there as it feels somewhat balanced. Finishes with some lingering citrus pith on the tongue.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a hint of chewiness and fairly mellow carbonation with a hint of zestiness on the swallow. Drinks very smooth and clean. Very refreshing.
Okay, nice, this is a definite improvement on the pale ale version. It's got a bit more body and a bit more fruitiness. I quite like this and I'm fairly picky about NEIPAs. I'll have to pick up a six pack. Cheers!
