Look: Brown with a very generous beige head.
Smell: A pleasant coffee aroma is present.
Taste: A nice balanced flavor starting with a good, mildly sweet chocolate, and finishing with a deliciously bitter coffee. A hint of milk is also noticeable.
Feel: Low in the mouth and creamy.
Overall: Good solid brew. Would definitely recommend.

Bought on tap, served in a pint glass. Dark cola appearance with thin film of creamy foam. One of the better balanced milk stouts I have drank. Highly recommend.

22oz glass bottle. Picked it up on my way out of Anchorage and don’t regret the extra suitcase weight at all. Thick and beautiful tan head with nice and dark cola color. Full mouthfeel, not at all watery. Taste is nicely balanced between sweet chocolate and dark roasted coffee. Carbonation on the higher side. Smell is subtle malty milk.

Pours opaque, dark-brown in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is burnt brown sugar, char, and cream. Medium bodied, sweet with roastiness and low carbonation. Makes for an above average but not great milk stout. Worth a shot, although I prefer several others in the style.

an absolutely textbook example of this style, one of the best straight up i have had. the milk sugar isnt too much at all, and adds a wonderful richness to this without making it sweet. there is a good amount of body, a ton of dark roasty grain flavor, and hints of chocolate and coffee all the way through it. awesome appearance. it has a fast rising and expansive dark tan foam layer over two inches high when it settles out, looks clear and has an obsidian shine. aroma is heavy roast, slight oaty starchiness, and ssome dark chocolate, semisweet. in the taste, there is a light earthy smoked element that dds great depth, a little of the lactose sweetness, and finally a bitter push from the dark malts. the mouthfeel is where its at though, so creamy and bigger feeling, but keeping the abv down and not getting as sugary as so many of these do, its perfectly satisfying and hearty, but its also very drinkable, and a bomber of this was easy by myself. its got all season versatility, and a well rounded and delicious flavor. one of the highlights from a very awesome box of alaskan beers my buddy brought down. sad that this was the last one, but it was a delightful milk stout, way ahead of the curve...
