Nice hop profile, with an interesting blend of herbal and tropical flavors. Smooth finish too.

On tap:
Pours golden with a little chill haze. White sustaining thin head, decent lacing.
Bit of green pine or even mint, but a biscuit grainy sweetness as well, strength a bit weak.
Taste starts alcohol astringent on a cold beer. Mellows to show grass, grapefruit rind, and pine in succession. These flavors have some punch to them, and dominate a clean slightly sugar-water malt profile. The opening also reminds me a bit of ginger, with the feel that tickles the tongue quite a bit, seemingly a combination of alcohol and carbonation. The beer is quite drying with the bitterness seeming to suck the water from my palate I also get a hint of that mint leave feel with the malt/bite/pine combo.
The bite of this beer is just a tad off-putting to me. The strong bitterness will work for some, and did redeem the beer for a decent rating in my eyes.
