16 oz can dated 6/14/18 and purchased at brewery. Poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: Mostly hazy light orange-copper. 1.5F fluffy white head, good retention, lots of white lacing and a cap and ring.

S: Orange, lime, some berry and melon elements.

T: Citrus/melon/berry type taste, hard to really pin down, thought the combination of Citra and Nelson works out nicely. The rye malt adds nice touch. Very sllghtly bitter finish.

F: Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Very good construction and balance. Pretty easy drinking.

O: A very nice IPA offering from Ocelot.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a bright, golden yellow color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.

S: A very nice aroma hops, citrus, tropical fruit, malt, and pine.

T: Tasted of a bit of pine resin, some malt in the finish), lots of hops (not too much, though), lots of citrus (lemon and grapefruit, in particular), and a bunch of tropical fruit (mango, especially). A sweet and fruity flavor with a lot of flair. Well-balanced between the hops and fruit elements.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a somewhat slick consistency. Light- to medium-bodied.

O: A well made, easy to drink IPA. A good beer for the summer months.

16 OZ can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours a pale yellow with plenty of haze. it's not pineapple juice haze but hazy enough. It is topped with an inch of fluffy white head that leaves some nice lacing.

The smell is dank and resiny with some citrus.

The initial taste is dank and citrusy. It remains dank throughout with pine in the finish.

Medium mouthfeel

This is quite an enjoyable IPA. It is easy drinking and a nice piney change of pace. It pairs well with "Home" by Boboflex.

Home is a bright and light American IPA from Ocelot Brewing. I do like that it has details about the ingredients used right there on the label, even though I don't have enough knowledge to judge them individually.

The color is a beautiful light yellow that doesn't even begin to hint at the amount of flavor packed into it. It has strong resin flavors with a citrus bite at the end. The taste is really clean and crisp. This would be a great warm day beer.

The beer pours a nice white and foamy head that dissipate pretty quickly. The beer itself is a nice clear pale gold color that looks pretty nice. It has a nice golden metallic hue to it.

The smell is fairly good and hoppy with a nice and strong citrus bitterness to it. The notes that mainly come out are a nice grapefruit and lemon note with a tiny bit of pine managing to poke it's head out.

The taste is, unsurprisingly, also nice and hoppy. The notes tend to be a bit more to the grapefruit side than lemon and the pine note is a bit stronger. The lemon citrus is still there and mixes well with the grapefruit note..

The feel is good. It's a nice medium bodied beer with a dry finish to it. The carbonation is fairly biting and gives it a good texture..

Overall, a pretty good beer that's worth getting when you can see it. It's nice to see that Ocelot can even make what would be considered a run-of-the-mill IPA to be good.

Love the contrast of the bright white head and the opaque orange yellow beer.
