Poured from a 16oz can. Very light coloring. Not much carbonation. Smell is artificial fruit and candy. Taste is quiet. Nothing jumps out at me. Maybe hints of fruit and hops, nothing crazy. The feel is great. Drinkable

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in November 2022. The canned date on the bottom of the can was 6/15/22. I drank this about 3 months after purchase.

Appearance: Light gold color with 3-finger white head. It has a very hazy complexion. The head is very thick, and it lasts a few minutes, leaving a fluffy covering. There is a large amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: Strong aroma of pineapple and pine, as well as some hops and grapefruit. The aroma was moderately strong as soon as the can was opened. The fruit aromas are more prominent than the other aromas.

Taste: Nice balanced taste between the fruit (grapefruit and pineapple) and hops that is not overpowering. Also, some orange flavors. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.

Mouthfeel: Medium body. Also, moderate average alcohol, which matches the 7.2% listed on the can. Interesting that the ABV listed here for this beer is 6.6%. Wonder if the ABV has changed over time or was a typo here before.

This is a very good IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. A very good IPA from Ocelot, and comparable to Solace Brewing which is nearby. I like this better than Ocelot's "Jacks N Jokers". A good IPA for drinking anytime of the year. I will definitely buy this again.

Outstanding NEIPA. Nelson, Citra, Rye….it’s got all the ingredients I generally love in my IPAs. This beer did not disappoint. Ocelot made a world class beef here.

Pours a pale golden with that kind of see through melony appearance. It's got a musky white grape maybe some light peach rings as well. The Nelson is definitely dominant for me. I get white wine that gives way to peppery bitterness and a touch of earthy spice. There's some grapefruit pith in there as well. While I am not digging all of the flavors, I am digging the layers of this. Lots of beers these days struggle from one note syndrome and this does not.

16 oz can dated 6/14/18 and purchased at brewery. Poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: Mostly hazy light orange-copper. 1.5F fluffy white head, good retention, lots of white lacing and a cap and ring.

S: Orange, lime, some berry and melon elements.

T: Citrus/melon/berry type taste, hard to really pin down, thought the combination of Citra and Nelson works out nicely. The rye malt adds nice touch. Very sllghtly bitter finish.

F: Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Very good construction and balance. Pretty easy drinking.

O: A very nice IPA offering from Ocelot.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a bright, golden yellow color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.

S: A very nice aroma hops, citrus, tropical fruit, malt, and pine.

T: Tasted of a bit of pine resin, some malt in the finish), lots of hops (not too much, though), lots of citrus (lemon and grapefruit, in particular), and a bunch of tropical fruit (mango, especially). A sweet and fruity flavor with a lot of flair. Well-balanced between the hops and fruit elements.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a somewhat slick consistency. Light- to medium-bodied.

O: A well made, easy to drink IPA. A good beer for the summer months.
