32oz growler pour into a shaker pint.
A: Pours a clear copper, edging on amber with 3/4" fluffy white head that recedes at a moderate pace. Retention & lacing are OK.
S: Crackery malt with doughy undertones. Subtle, subtle hints of spice (clove, cinnamon). Vague hop qualities. Muted & a little bit of a mess - still interesting.
T: Comes on with a nice, juicy bitterness punctuated by black pepper. The mid palate is a nice blend of the malt character & more bittering hops with a citrus-peel quality. Finishes off-sweet with increasing malt & spice components coming into focus prior to a huge bitter punch right at the end.
M: Moderate carb married to an oily, malty body.
O: This is a nice, juicy, bitter APA.

Gorgeous clear gold appearance. Light, sweet aroma. A great pale ale. American hops. The balance of citrus, dank resin and earth mesh perfectly with this grain bill. A hop forward apa that goes out of its way to provide you with an immense amount of hop character blended together judiciously.
