Excellent local IPA. Great hop flavor. Citrus, pine resin. Really well balanced, not overly malty. Will look to try more from this brewery. On tap at Brookland Pint.

On tap at Smoke and Barrel. IPA brewed with Experimental 07270 hops and smaller amounts of Nelson and Amarillo.
Appearance: Pours a bright, light orange leaning toward yellow. Very pale malt structure. Head retention is outstanding given the hop character in this beer. Lots of thick white lacing as well. Slight hop haze.
Aroma: Hop aroma hits on a lot of angles. There's a definite fruity side with notes of apricot and peach and less prominent citrus. This is overtaken at times by a more piney, dank, and resiny side.
Flavor: Opens juicy with some nice stone fruit flavors. Quickly turns toward the resin and pine side of the equation that the nose hinted at. Some savory type onion/garlic flavors on the finish. Long and lingering flavors and bitterness. Malt backbone is super nice, which is to say I barely noticed it.
Feel: Mouthfeel is really nice. A sort of creaminess at points in the palate but finishes crisp and dry. Long, lingering finish. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall: Another well made IPA from Ocelot. Not the biggest fan of these particular experimental hops.

12oz snifter on tap at Whole Foods FairLakes. Poured a nice golden hue with a small amount of haze and an ample, white head. Nose and taste are dominated by Nelson (which I'm not a fan of, hence the marks). It's a well made beer, highlighting that hop. Reminiscent of Jack's Abby- Kiwi Rising.

Quality ipa from ocelot. Balanced light and refreshing. Very balanced with not too much if a harsh malt backbone. Ocelot is making some great ipas and this is one of them

Experimental hops. Amarillo, Nelson and enough malt to hold it all together. I see great things in ocelots future. The earthy, garlicky, onion character dominates, with subdued citrus fruit making an appearance. Gorgeous, clear gold color with a some-what stable head.
