From the growler, it pours amber with a nice, fluffy head. The head lasts... Very pleasant aroma of pine and citrus. The hoppiness hits you more in the mouth...a pleasant assault on the tastebuds with a small aftertaste. Yum!

Solid. Nothing that particularly excites me.

On tap. Great beer with a complex flavor and a very nice aroma. This is another great beer from a great brewery that consistently makes very good beers!

Nice citrus hop smell. Extremely bitter finish however.

From a fresh growler, pours a nice-looking pale golden orange. A finger of bright white foam sticks around and leaves decent lacing.
The first thing I get from the smell is black peppercorns, then sweet citrus and some piney dank. Other ripe fruits I can't identify. As it warms some alcohol is present.
Taste is deliciously spicy and fruity, with some malt sweetness coming in before a fairly drying finish. Bitterness is bracing but not at all excessive. Bit of clean alcohol flavor.
Feel is a full-ish medium, with a rich smoothness that's offset by perfect carbonation.
Overall a killer IIPA. Delicious, elegant and masterfully brewed.

On-tap at Smoke and Barrel. 8.7% DIPA with Citra and El Dorado hops.
Appearance: Pours a hop hazed pale gold with hints of orange. Great head, retention, and lacing.
Aroma: Smells great. Maybe a touch soapy, but outstanding citrus and tropical fruit aromas. The Citra really comes through here.
Taste: Opens with bright citrus and tropical fruit flavor. Some pale sweet malt gives is a bit of a candied effect on the palate. A bit more malt presence than some Ocelot DIPAs, but still very pale and dry overall. Finish on this beer is super great. Mild lingering bitterness and great pine and citrus character.
Feel: A bit of alcohol heat, but nothing excessive. Drinks very easy for 8.7%. Balanced bitterness. Plays well with the flavor, aroma, and alcohol components without being too forward.
Overall: Another really nice Ocelot DIPA.

On draft 3/23/16. Pours orange hued and near opaque. Almost no head. Great smell of tropical hops. Decent carbonation but a bit light. Taste is tropical hops (mango) initially with a more basic citrus finish. Good hop flavor but no hop bitterness. Very easy to drink.
