This was very bold and bitter, but not as tropical as most Ocelot brews. It had a strong resin aftertaste. Good west coast style double IPA, but not top tier.

From a fresh growler, pours a slightly hazy deep gold with a finger of white foam. Nice lacing. Initial smell is mango and tangerine, which gives way to lemon and grass, then some grapefruit, pine and just a touch of oniony dank. Taste follows, minus the onion, and finishes on a soft grapefruit pith bitterness along with a few spicy herbal notes. Feel is a pretty full medium. Malt and alcohol barely in evidence. Another masterful IIPA from Ocelot. Not a note out of place.

MIcrobrew sample. This was a pretty tasty double IPA. Nice Citra elements to the flavor. Dry and a bit dank as well. Tropical fruits are present but so are some of the drier hop flavors. Enjoyable.

Had on tap. Hazy orange/yellow body with a finger of white foam. This beer left quite the.... impression! Smell and taste are clones: dank bitter hops reign down with tons of tropical fruit zest and grapefruit, some grass, pine, and lemon too. Feel has the dank hop bitterness and texture, malts stays out of the way to let the hops star, but the feel isn't as complex as the taste.
