Poured a clear yellow body with one-finger head and lace ring down glass. Bitter citric, floral, slightly orange acidic aroma with hints of grapefruit sweetness. Smooth, light bodied, balances sweetness with a bitter earthy orange hoppiness and is a pleasing brew.

Mmmmmhhhhmmmm. A delicious sweet, hippy aroma here. Strong notes of spicy west coast dankness, covered with caramel malt. Taste follows up beautiful.
Super clean, super balanced. What more can an addict ask for?

L - Nice clear yellow-ish color with a small head that dissolves quickly
S - A citrus dream. I smell apricot, lemon and all around a very juicy citrus DIPA.
T - Not as heavy as a DIPA would be. Not overly bitter, just a nice tingle on the back of the tongue.
F - Medium bodied
Picked up a 500ML bottle while I was there and have fell in love with this brew. If anyone knows winning DIPA's it is Ocelot.

The beer pours a nice white that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is a clear yellow color. It isn't anything impressive to look at but still decent enough to drink it.
The smell is the best part of this beer and definitely makes it worth it. The beer starts with a nice citrus almost zesty orange rind note that slowly gives way to a dank and pine note that is not super hoppy. The peak and optimal mix is about the midway point when the rind note is strong while the pine note gives it a nice contrast but does not overwhelm it. There is a slight sweet bread malt note to it but
The taste is pretty good. It has the same notes as the smell but it's more consistently a mix of the orange rind and dank, pine note. The dank, pine note is a bit stronger than it was in the smell but the overall balance remains the same.
The feel is also pretty good. It certainly surprisingly light for an IPA. The carbonation gives it a nice soft bitey texture and ends with a dry finish.
Overall, this is a pretty solid IPA from Ocelot and worth getting. It has a nice bitter note that isn't taxing and a nice balance between different hop notes. Go for it.

From a fresh growler, pours a slightly hazy yellow gold. Big white 2-finger head leaves lots of sticky lacing down the glass. These guys know how to make a great-looking beer.
Smell is lots of citrus—mostly lemon, orange and lime—along with some grassy notes and crackery malt. Taste follows, with a solid bracing bitterness.
Feel is a light-ish medium, with a slight oiliness that serves to beef it up.
I love what the guys at Ocelot are doing. Always super clean, beautifully constructed and delicious.

Poured on tap into a becker nonic glass at Meridian Pint DC.
Hazy and deep golden brass colored body, with a large amount of green hue to it. Not completely opaque, some nice fine carbonation makes it's way to a very bright bleach white head of a finger presented. Creamy retention, some light lacing and nice staying power.
Excellent hop mixing aroma. Juiced up and complex, a first dry note of pine mixing with a garden floral blast and then large tropical pineapple. Big mixing varied bouquet but leads more to tropics, with an excellent chewy malt and slight dough to toasty quality. Real impressive.
Palate gets more into the hop angle with a mid palate that is quite resiny. Much of the pineapple character gets toned down in favor of a bit of spicy but very nice warm bittering blast of hops. Finish is almost crisp and pilsner lager feeling, lots of dryness but manages to just barely stay away from being powdery in feel.
A real nice IPA that's nicely put together.

Growler fill, one day after fill:
Pours a very pale gold, and maybe just the lightest chill haze. nice white foamy-to-soapy head, sustained by nucleation perhaps but also providing large sheets of lacing.
Light earthy tropical notes, melon rind, light herbal not including a hint of onion/garlic.
Smooth on the palate and barely more than light heft. A fairly clean opening with just a bit of herbs, if anything atop a biscuity malt flavor. Melon to a very light papaya flavor starts to build. Eventually some candied orange (an accent flavor more than a sweetness), and finally some grapefruit pith and zest.
A nice offering that is fairly straightforward, not overly powerful, and refreshing. A fairly easy drinker.

500 mL bottled 6/8/16, poured into Lawson's Belgian glass.
L: Medium semi-hazy gold. 1F+ foamy head with moderate retention, spotty lacing, and a ring.
S: Lots of citrus from the Amarillo, orange, grapefruit, lemon peel, some pine from the Simcoe.
T: Muted citrus forward developing into moderate piney dankness with slight bitterness. Cracker malt. Tasty, but not a big flavor or hop bomb.
F: Light to medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, solid construction, good balance, crisp and refreshing and good drinkability for a 7.0.
O: Another solid IPA from Ocelot, one I would gladly drink all day (slowly, it's not exactly a session IPA).
