A: This poured a hazy light gold with a little white head.
S: It smelled like lemon zest and dank herbal hops, with some mango and apricot.
T: It tasted like mango and lemon and apricot, with some honey suckle and dank herbal hops. It had a clean bitter aftertaste.
M: It was watery with a little carbonation. Thin body.
D: This was a solid IPA with yummy tropical scent and taste, but the body was weak. The finish was smooth, so it was easy to drink. Not their best IPA, but still very solid and enjoyable.

Poured a clear, light yellow body with large head and left lace all over glass. Smells sweet like berries/fruit esters along with possible grapefruit but not much in terms of acidic/citric hops or any soapy/bitter/dryness. Smooth, easy drinking beer, almost no hop bitterness at all, has this tropical fruit/grapefruit/tangerine sweetness vibe going on and has a clean finish that makes it very dangerous to drink.

Very light gold in color, clear. Clean smell of west coast hops, almost brushed with white grape. Taste follows up with a clean bitterness that shows signs of bitter grapefruit and tart pear.

On tap. Poured a bright yellow/pale color with a foamy white head. Good lacing and retention. Somewhat muted aromas of orange and grapefruit. Clean bitter citrus taste as above, minimal dankness. Dry finish.

From a fresh growler, pours a very light, slightly chill-hazed lemon-gold with greenish highlights. Towering 2+ fingers of dense, bright white foam leaves lots of lacing. Both smell and taste are a citrus attack. Big pink grapefruit is accompanied by orange and lemon. As it warms, undercurrents of spicy herbs come through. Light pine resin bitterness in finish. Feel is on the lighter side of medium. There's so little malt in evidence, this is basically hop water, in the best possible way. Crisp, elegant, supremely drinkable.
If this more West Coast style IPA were in fashion the way NE juice bombs currently are, the lines would be around the block for Ocelot. Kind of glad they aren't, personally.

Bottle dated 6/23/16. Poured into Lawson's tulip glass.
L: 3F soapy head, good retention, lots of lacing and a ring. Beer is a hazy pale gold.
S: Comet and Amarillo hops make a really nice mix of citrus and floral notes. Grapefruit, orange predominate, some pineapple and tropical notes as well. A tiny bit of hoppy dankness but not much.
T: Grapefruit, lemon rind, orange, pineapple dominate up front, light cracker malt holds it together, mild hoppy dankness and bitterness on finish.
F: Light to medium body, medium carbonation, good construction and balance, crisp and very near sessionable.
O: This is a really nice IPA; if they ever think about canning one this should be the one. It compares very favorably with Kane's Head High, Russian River's Blind Pig, etc.
